President's Day!

How will you observe the day?

One way would be to search our catalog to learn more about our American Presidents. Go to http://library.moody.edu/catalog.php and click on Advanced Search (under the Search tab). Type in Presidents United States and select Subject from the index drop-down.

Browse the list of 32 titles for a start. If you sort by publication date, you will see eBooks and our most recent book titles, such as:

DeGregorio, William A. The Complete Book of U. S. Presidents. Fort Lee, NJ: Barricade Books, 2005. Print. R 973.0992 D321c 2005

Mari, Christopher, and Paul McCaffrey. The American Presidency. New York: H.W. Wilson Co, 2008. Print. 973.0992 A512am

Did you notice the common Dewey Decimal number? Go to the stacks to browse!

Also try keyword searching for "American Presidents" and other like concepts.

Another way would be to tune in to PBS tonight to watch the American Experience production about Bill Clinton. PBS.org: "Premiering February 20th and 21st, a biography of a president who rose from a broken childhood in Arkansas to become one of the most successful politicians in modern American history, and one of the most complex and conflicted characters to ever stride across the public stage." Whether or not you agree, tune in to learn more about this important presidency.
